Obviously, when the Holy Scriptures were translated from the original text they forgot to check in with the RCC...

The RCC has the final interpretation of all scripture regardless of the actual words that are written and don't you forget it.../ S

I can’t as I am reminded regularly on this forum.

However, as I have pointed out in the past, the need for *interpretation* only comes in when you don’t like what is being said and want it to say something else, something the plain, clear reading of the words doesn’t say.

You are correct sir, or at least that's what I was taught when I was a Catholic. 😀 Since I am NOW, an Ephesians 2:8-9 kind of guy, I don't accept it anymore, but I did at one time. ✌️️
