John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him, may not perish; but may have life everlasting.17 For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world, but that the world may be saved by him. 18 He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
In that entire exchange between Jesus and Nicodemus in the third chapter of John's Gospel, do you see any reference to following rituals or sacraments, other than Jesus citing the analogous scene of the brass snake lifted up to be the focus of faith in order for GOD to heal?
