And children from a previous marriage of Joseph is not the only plausible explanation ... so what’s the point in it? ... To a Catholiciism adherent it is vital to maintain the fictions of Mary’s mediatrixship, etc. The issue is vital to Mariology, but not to salvation, so I go with what Paul clearly wrote and was first hand witness to.
