A wise pastor, whose name Ive forgotten, once said, If you want to know what to preach about, find out what sin with which your congregation is struggling. Or, as I noted after the infamous Obergefell ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court that legally redefined the oldest institution in the history of humanity, pastors, as they prepare their sermons, should always be asking, Where is the enemy at work in attempting to deceive my congregation?
Likewise, any organization devoted to the works of Jesus Christor seeking to impact the world for Jesus Christshould be well prepared to confront the popular lies that seek to undermine the eternal truths of our Creator. Im no longer directly active with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and thus Im not privy to what is happening at the local level of the FCA in my area. However, with the widespread efforts of athletic organizations across the U.S.at the high school, collegiate, and professional levelin support of the homosexual agenda, Im very disappointed not to hear national FCA leaders speak truth to a nation that desperately needs to hear it.

We need to stand on the Truth whether or not we are “stepped on and crushed” in this world.
As C.S. Lewis put it: Pride is the utmost evil; the complete anti-God state of mind. It was through pride that the devil became the devil.
I agree 100%. However, there is strength in numbers and if we want to succeeded, not just be martyrs, we should all hang together or surely we will hand separately. Isn’t that what Ben Franklin said?
Leave it to Lewis to make it more clear.
