What about when a government seeks to usurp those “certain inalienable rights” with which the Creator endows all men?

That would be covered under:

"When there was a direct head-on clash, when civic authorities forbade what God commanded, or commanded what God forbade, then they rightly refused: 'We must obey God, not men.'"

At the point where the government tries to force your cooperation with this usurpation of inalienable human rights, you are obliged to disobey.

That would be, in summary form, violations of the inalienable right to:

• Life... e.g. murder, abortion, euthansia, "assisted suicide", military choices of indiscriminate or mass destruction, etc.

• Liberty ... e.g. slavery, involuntary servitude, involuntary indoctrination, laws requiring citizens in their professions or working lives to violates their conscience, etc.

• Pursuit of Happiness... e.g. laws that require citizens to pursue the state's goals, agendas and life-purposes, to the detriment of the citizen;s own properly private values, goals and purpose.
