The Bible speaks of these Last Days and testifies to what the social conditions will be at this time among those who profess Christ and have a "form" of godliness. (Romans 10:2-4, 1 Tim. 3:1-7,2 Tim. 4:1-3, Jude, 1:10, Rev. 3:14-22). At this time, a secular progressive movement - initiated by the super fallen intelligence of fallen angels (i.e., demons ) will begin to dominate and influence the entire world preparing the world for Lucifer's lawless minion and the global worship of himself and his lawless super -ultra fascist world leader (2 Thess. 2:3-12, Rev.13). Some of the signs of these last days will be the abounding lawlessness of society and the demonically led anti -marriage movement along with other apostate teachings. As we see this ever growing lawless moment sweeping the world, especially in the West. We today can see the very shadows of the things which are about to come. This lawless spirit dominates the West's progressive Left, but what is most alarming is how it is sweeping into moderate and some conservative circles as well. When these groups begin to embrace this rebellious movement against the very bedrock of the world's most sacred institution how long will it truly be until we are face to face with the Day of the Lord!
Liberalism - for the most part - rejects out right the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God. The root and source of this rejection - of these crucial moral laws and realities - is their subjective hatred towards the Creator of the heavens and earth (Romans 1:18-32). This base ideology is expressed and manifested in their disdain and hostility towards the American blue print drawn up by our Founding Fathers, which was based on the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God.
Liberal /progressives reject these core moral absolutes and practice a sensual subjectivism that sees God ordained absolutes through the prism of relativism and pluralism. They possess a fear of moral absolutes and believe that true freedom is to be free from any Divine instituted moral absolutes or laws that suppress their unbridled passions (Psalm 14:1-3, Isa 24:5, 2 Tim 3:1-7, Jude 1:10). They are lawless in all their deeds and hostile to any that impose a Divine reality or the adherence of moral absolutes (Rom. 1:28-32).
The Lord Jesus stated that, you shall know men by their fruits and by their actions (Matt. 7:16-20). It is simple enough to see that where ever the “virtues” of secular liberalism are promoted and exercised that poverty, disease, anarchy, crime, social chaos, the break down of the family unit, violence and horrific social devastation are to be found.When one rejects and abandons the core moral building blocks for a health society for a godless delusion of lawlessness, expect to find social devastation and chaos (2 Tim. 3:1-7).
What is most alarming is how the very people that impose their delusional solutions and remedies upon the American people seek also to fix these ills of society by applying the very same logic that got us to this social catastrophic point in the first place. By applying these lawless solutions, these excel the rate of today’s social ills at exponential rates. Today’s American social culture is at the extreme breaking point. The evidence is every where, yet the majority of American’s live in the apathetic delusion that all is well and that we will remain and prosper as times past. Wake up America, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!
While the events and general lawlessness testifies that we are in the final days before the Day of the LORD, the fact that the great sign in the heavens described in Revelation 12:1-2 actually will happen sometime during September 23-24, 2017, kind of nails down the fact that the time is very short.
This heart attitude of rebellion against God and His authority expresses itself in lawlessness...the Bible says that the world will become more and more lawless as we approach the end of this age.
What is going to happen on that day?
I believe we are in the final days, but so were we 2,000 years ago. Gods time is not mans time.

I don’t buy astrology even spiritualized astrology. The Bible provides no working index as to what the various star groupings are supposed to symbolize and at what times. I think the sign in heaven will be a very noticeable event but it’s meaning is cloaked right now.
An alternative thought:It does provide a symbolic history of the birth of Christ and the rise of the church and the attempts by the devil to destroy that church but she should be protected for 3.5 years as the Earth would swallow up the flood of destruction sent against her. The 3.5 years is interesting as it may point to the latter half of the tribulation period!(Rapture?). If there is something to the “star position’ astrological idea you mention...then prepare for a very rocky 3.5 years!
I think of the star of Bethlehem and it was no ordinary star...it wasn’t a star/planet cluster but something so unusual that it prompted certain magi to follow it “and it went before them and stood over the house”.
The lawlessness we see today is a few individuals, blown out of proportion by the media and a lot of governmental entities .... not necessarily the general population .... which is what I think scripture is pointing to.

The Shabbat between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur is called Shabbat Shuvah, Shabbat of Return because its special haftarah reading begins with the words Shuvah Yisrael “Return O Israel”, from the prophecy of Hoshea. It is also referred to as Shabbat Shuvah because it falls during the Ten Days of Repentance.
The problem with predicting end times is that short-term dates come and go with nothing of any significance occurring. We’ve seen this several times in the past, oh, well, since FR has been around.
Something big may happen in September 2017. Or maybe not. But if not, you’re back to living in this crappy world. Oh, and explaining away why it didn’t happen in September 2017.
My thinking is if a rapture occurs, I’m ready. Or as ready as I’m gonna be. I can’t get any readier.
But my counsel is to be non-rapture ready. That is, be ready to go about doing what needs to be done in your everyday life. Yes, that means going back to your lousy job because Christ ain’t ready for you yet. But a not-rapture is a far, far more likely event on any given days.
Be rapture-ready by being saved. Be not-rapture ready by being on time for work the next day. Like I said, it’s far more likely that you’ll be here for that.
Of course, there has never been abounding lawlessness before, so you might be onto something.
Or not. Very likely, not. But still, accept Christ into your heart. Just in case there is a rapture tomorrow. Or, more likely, God takes you some other way.

For signs and season yes but not for fortune telling! Another words for when spring was coming or for how to tell time or for what direction to take! Or for when to prepare for Passover. The Old Testament and New Testament has no codex for what planet means a king or for what star cluster constellation means God’s vengeance is coming...therefore make spears!

There are specific signs for sure that the Bible says we are to look for...but the bible mentions them specifically! We aren’t supposed to create astronomical horoscopes of the future using star patterns that we have no Biblical reference for to prove their accuracy which must be 100 per cent if it is of God! We aren’t supposed to be terrified of the signs of the heavens!
So the Magi who saw the signs of Jesus’ birth in the heavens and came to worship Him were what? The day of Palm Sunday can be calculated using the prophesy in Daniel and the date given in Nehamiah. Jesus wept over Jerusalem because the Jews did not do the calculation and welcome Him as the Massiah. So how do you think He is going to feel about those who ignore a sign He has put in His Revelation that tells of His Second Coming?
IMO, conservatives jumped the shark when they embraced Internet porn. It’s been downhill ever since for the family and marriage.
Another thought: It is really hard to simply trust in the LORD to take care of our every need and to direct our every step. I know this from personal experience. But over the past several years, I have been put in situations that I simply can’t figure out what to do, and have taken to relying on YHWH’s Holy Spirit to guide my every move. Including writing this reply.
The Ain Sof, the True and the Living God outside of His creation, spoke His creation into being, and His Word actually maintains His creation in existence and guides it by providing the boundary conditions for all significant events. The Holy Scriptures, the Bible, are His revelation of what we need to know to make informed decisions on where we want to spend eternity. We can either believe His Word and be with Him for eternity, or not believe His Word and spend eternity in Outer Darkness, aka, the Eternal Lake of Fire.
If you believe His Word, then you can decide to really trust Him, or to sorta trust Him. That is you can follow the narrow way that he has chosen for you life, or you can deviate from that path, and require His corrective action to get you back on it. Balaam and his donkey are an extreme example. Jonah and the big fish are another.
If you try to listen to that “still small voice”, then He can use less strenuous direction. For example, about 18 months ago, a failed hot water heater in our travel trailer led us to getting a 34 foot Winnebago Brave that we would need to be able to help Mrs. Submareener’s sister to move out of Denver this summer. After we closed on the Brave, I said, “YHWH, I will know this is Your doing if the hot water heater comes on tomorrow morning.” Sure enough, when I turned it on the next morning, it lit off normally and never failed again.

They saw the star “which went before them” .... it wasn’t a conjunction of 3 planets as they would only be in conjunction a day or so...this was a longer lasting phenomena that most folks didn’t seem to pay attention to. They also were learned folk and knew that a coming savior was coming...that and the Holy Spirit prompts that said”hey pay attention to that star over there...a la Paul”in times past god winked at those who of other nations”>
There is no specific indication in the bible that because the people didn’t calculate from the heavens Jesus’ arrival that he wept...there were other signs he displayed that should have told them who he was. He was weeping specifically over their spiritual condition. The timing from Daniel and Nehimiah you mention was not just from signs in the heavens but from prophecy starting with the rebuilding of the temple until the 69th week of years until the prince was ‘cut off”. I don’t dispute the use of the stars and moon to help fix holidays and feast days and the like as well as to make corrections in the Jews 360 day calendar. But the use of the stars to foretell the future....in light of what Christ said about the timing of the end and his coming...”No one knows the hour save the father in heaven!”. There is too much of this sort of Christianized astrological prophecy stuff going on with nothing happening to show for it...lots of convincing things being said for years and years only nothing comes of it. So I’m skeptical!
There are specific things though that the Bible tells us to look for that will be notable for everyone , there will be no way for us to deny what we are seeing or to explain them away, things that will definitely tell us that we are in the last days...the signs as well as the disasters occurring on Earth will reinforce the notion that Jesus is soon to come in great power and judgment! The whole constellation of virgo thingy...ehhh not so sure. The passage of the sign of a woman speaks of a woman who is protected, the child is caught up, and she then goes into hiding to prepare for a a time, 2 times, and a half time”. I think John was speaking symbolically...it says he saw the sign...it doesn’t say that we on Earth will see the sign he saw. I think we see the sign as we look at church history... the only thing left is the swallowing up of the “flood” by the Earth and the hiding of the woman for three and half years to prepare”. The dragon at the mean time “is wroth” and continues to war against her seed(reference Eve and Genesis).
