The God of the Universe has announced to mankind that He has a specific plan and He has revealed that plan in advance. Get Ready...
It says what it says.
I honestly don’t see why people have to get so angry over something that they disagree with.
Whoever is wrong is going to be wrong. I don’t think I am but if someone disagrees with me, it’s not an issue that I feel is going to cost anyone their salvation.
Nobody is claiming to know the hour so that verse is irrelevant.
You're contradicting yourself.
Working through natural law is NOT a miracle.
The best miracles are small.
Your opinion to which you are entitled, but not a fact.
Read the Upper Room Discourse which starts in chapter 13 of John’s Gospel and goes through chapter 14. Pay attention to the ‘there’ JESUS relates to His disciples, as in to be with Him ‘there’ Where He Is Now, preparing a place for us. ... Not ‘here’, ‘there’ ...
Thanks again for the posts you do.
LOL ignoring others while ignoring the WHOLE word of God is exactly why God calls some to be watchmen on the wall who are ordered to warn others of those who are climbing over that wall and invading.
I believe in the rapture. Those asleep precede the living. Those asleep are raised at His coming as taught by Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2 AFTER the anti-Christ is revealed. Revelation 20 reveals there are two resurrections. The first is the resurrection of the martyrs from the Great Tribulation. The rest of the dead are resurrected after the thousand year reign and the end of the universe.
The potluck dinners are the only good part ;-) Feed people and they’ll listen to almost anything.
[[I honestly dont see why people have to get so angry over something that they disagree with.]]
Jesus gave us the answer of why they
get so angry over it .
(Luke 12:45) But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
(Luke 12:46) The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
(Luke 12:47) And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
They cant steal my blessed hope :)What a day that will be,
When my Jesus I shall see,
And I look upon His face,
The One who saved me by His grace;
When He takes me by the hand,
And leads me through the Promised Land,
What a day, glorious day that will be.
It's called the resurrection
"He will swallow up death forever"
Don’t want people to lose faith in our good God because of “wishful thinking theology” like the Rapture — when it doesn’t happen.
Since there is no timeline, that’s not going to happen.
The bad thing it does is prevents people from really trying to understand Daniel and the Bk of Revelations
Thanks for posting Lera. Jesus - my one hope. My only hope. We are brothers and sisters in Him. May we all be together at the bridal supper of the Lamb soon. Very soon.
No, it doesn’t.
It never stopped me or anyone else I know.

Amen to that.
Soon and very soon

All the people I know who believe , really believe he is coming live like it. They have more faith in him and believe his word more than all the others I know .
They also have a joy about and smile when you mention he is coming because unlike the others they really desire to be with him . No don’t worry we are not going to loose faith we have more of it because we know he is faithful and true :)
Thou he slay me , I will praise him
So if you really thought that Jesus was coming back at any moment, how would that affect how you live?
Would you want to be in the middle of compromising your faith or obeying Him?
Sorry I didn’t realize you were into the Rapture.
I’m into it, too; it just happens at the 2nd Coming.
You are into John MacArthur and the Rapture, met mom?
That’s pretty wild. God bless.
bump to you bro.
Much love.
I’m not *into* anyone or any thing.
I think there’s good reason to believe that the rapture happens before the Tribulation. There would simply be no point of taking believers out of the Tribulation after they experienced it.
The Tribulation is God’s judgment on an unbelieving world. Christians are not unbelievers. Besides, there isn’t going to be a whole lot of Christians left at the end of the Tribulation. For that matter, there isn’t going to be a whole lot of anyone left by the end of the Tribulation, but especially believers as in addition to dying from whatever judgments God pours out on the earth, they will be executed for not taking the mark.
I do believe that believers will endure some of the beginnings of God’s judgment, as we are seeing today, but as far as the Tribulation period, that is dealing with Israel and the unbelieving world that has rejected God. That is not meant for the church and I read those verses as stating that God will remove the church before pouring out His judgment.
But you know what? If I’m wrong, I’m wrong, and I’ll just have to deal with it. God’s going to do what He’s going to do and your, my, or anyone else’s belief about it is not going to change what’s going to happen. We’ll find out when it happens.
