Undoubtedly, you will be correct. But don’t cry when Disney World goes out of business and your children and grandchildren whine that they have no place to go to. Try taking them to Gettysburg, Washington’s Crossing and the Alamo as we did as children.
Disney is not going to go out of business on account of this horrible accident. Disney will pay the family a huge sum of money, but it will be covered by insurance and the legal fees won’t be too crazy because this will never go to trial. In fact, no lawsuit ever will be filed. People can quibble all they like about whether the parents should have been wading with the children in this lagoon, but there is no way Disney is going to want a public fight with the grieving parents of a toddler who was eaten by a bloody alligator that came out of one of Disney’s own lagoons.
Disney World fired American workers and replaced them with H1b workers. I don’t care what happens to Disney. They have enough money to pay this family for their loss.
