I think that what is occurring to Believers in the Middle East is both martyrdom and genocide.
His critics are just mean. This pope is just trying to fill Heaven with martyrs! What could be more Christian?
Of course, a Marxist can’t grasp that the way to fill Heaven is EVANGELISM. Marxist don’t care about the means, just the ends. So in his twisted mind genocide is just as good as saving the lost.
I could be wrong and often am but I am open to alternative theories that explain the observations.
