The government needs to tax as much as possible to pay for their largess.

If they succeed in getting rid of all anonymous forms of payment then they will find that there is little left to tax, because much of the underground economy will come to a halt.

Part of me kinda sorts wishes this happens. There are so many people that don't vote conservative because they aren't affected by tax policy. Those of us who are unable or unwilling to participate in the underground economy are basically paying for those that do.

Yes, it's sorta great that some people are "going Galt", but it would be a better thing if we threw the bums out so that everyone could benefit from better government policy.

If you ignore the devastating signs of the times when the Beast mark rises, then you might poopoo the notion that it could and will happen on this planet.

From the start of the seventieth week of Daniel until the mid-point when the antichrist enters the Temple holy place and declares himself to be god, wars, earthquakes, pestilence, starvation, famine, and chaos will be sweeping the globe. underground cash will be useless to famine stricken peoples.
