Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Oh LORD, Our God,
How Excellent is Your Name over All The Earth!
For You Alone Are Worthy;
You Alone Are LORD;
You Alone Are The King of the Universe!
Ancient of Days;
You Are The One True God of Abraham,
and We Praise and Worship You with Our Whole Heart,
Soul, Mind, and Spirit!

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

The result of Peter's obedience to his Vision was marvelous! Upon arriving at Cornelius's home, he was warmly received, and even had to admonish the sincere, worshipful Centurion that he, Peter, was NOT a "god", and NOT to be worshiped. He was able to share the REAL God with Cornelius and his whole household so effectively that all of them believed and showed the same Manifestation of the Holy Spirit that Peter had experienced at Pentecost.

Tomorrow, we will see how Peter STILL had to defend his visit to the home of a Gentile Pagan to his own brethren upon his return to Jerusalem.

Cornelius was not the first Gentile to be saved (There was the Ethiopian Eunuch who encountered Philip, The Syro-Phonecian Woman who petitioned Jesus with talk of Puppies, and a number of Samaritans. However, it was Peter's first encounter with Gentiles in which he had to lay aside all of his religious notions and prejudice and actually enter the man's home to share the Gospel with him.

As we shall see in our study, Peter still had issues later on with Gentile believers, and he and Paul had some "words" over it.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
