Franklin Graham

Really?

Ok, so this individual is someone I can point to say here's an authority in the protestant version of "Christiantity".

So, since he's a "leader" does his words have authority? If he says you should believe XYZ doctrine, is that binding?

I checked his statement of faith and found it curious. Billy Graham Association

He doesn't say anything about baptism. Which is kind of strange seeing as how the doctrine of baptism is the foundation of the whole baptist movement.

All protestants and Catholics considered baptism essential for salvation up till around the 18th century. It was so important that the Lutherans put to death 30,000 Ana-baptists for teaching infant baptism was wrong. Tortured them to death with fire in-fact.

But he doesn't mention it at all.

His preaching has been good for him though, he's made 25 million from it. Good for him. I'm usually happy when anyone is successful in business.

And he's been inducted into the Southern Baptist hall of fame. Good for him. I don't think even the Apostle Paul has that honor.

There are statues of his father in various places. Who's still alive btw. I wonder when Franklin will have statues of him erected in his honor?

In Revelation 11, the two prophets spoken of that will be killed just before the second coming of Christ, does Franklin know them? Does he have the power to shut heaven? Could he be one of them?

Please elaborate on Franklin's leadership status please.
