The Pope has been targeted by Twitter trolls with sickening abuse after he posted a message about Jesus on the social networking site.
Pope Francis was subjected to the vile abuse just seconds after writing on his Twitter page.
He wrote: "Jesus Christ, the incarnation of God’s mercy, out of love for us, died on the cross, and out of love he rose again from the dead."
However, below the post trolls launched a sickening attack on The Pope.
One person wrote “Smells like b******t” while another posted a emoji of a penis with a graphic insult.
Another user added: “f*** me with a the cross and get the devil out of my p****."

Whatever your religious affiliation, we can all agree that society has become exceedingly coarse beyond anyone’s imagining over the past couple of decades.
What does the Pope believe about Karma?
I think that's a "Captain Obvious Wears 'Pope Francis' Pajamas" level of undeniably inarguable, but I'm sure even some Catholics can find an objection.
And what a charming picture of really nice old religious guys!
The world is full of silly adolescents as well as haters. If Billy Graham had tweeted the same thing he would have gotten the same treatment.

#1 ~ Haters must hate, as foul-mouthed posters must post their foulest opinions - they are stuck in their filthy existence where all they ever will own is the least common denominator. Pity them.
Try to ignore the hatred (if you can) and live a good life!

And now it should be clear why the world didn’t send Jesus to the comfy chair.
It takes God to mount that kind of love in the face of the kind of hate that humanity has embraced.
That might have been wise, though on the other hand he might have gotten some sincere inquiries too.

It’s a cliché, but there is so much that goes on of which one can only observe, “This is Satan.”
And this is what it took to rescue humanity from the devil.

It would be nice if Pope Frank wakes up, smells the coffee and decides to be Pope Urban.
There are some really vicious people in the world, who , because of the anonymity of the Internet, are able to post incredibly filthy and vile things with absolutely NO provocation.
Even the posting of a harmless piece of classical music on You Tube evokes some incredibly nasty responses that have nothing to do with the original posting.
Now, imagine the same demonic minds being confronted with the love, mercy, and grace of Jesus!
They just can’t help themselves.
It seems like the love is supposed to go only one way Francis.
There is a reason that Jesus told us not to cast our pearls before swine, lest they turn and rend us.
I hope that he learned that there are those in the world who are positively nasty and evil. There are those who we should not try to embrace, such as the muslim immigrants who are mostly men who are hardened combatants bent on our and our children’s destruction, in ways that are unspeakably horrible. Maybe this will cause him to wake up a bit.
It’s alright for him to speak of Mary or Saints. Just don’t mention Jesus... It’s sets the demons off.
