My Lord and my God.
I think it would be best to put this in Catholic Caucus.
“My Lord and my God.”
That’s what we should all be thinking every day, in regards to the consequences of the once for all sacrifice of Jesus. He defeated sin by paying its price. He doesn’t want us playing will-He-won’t-He games which are so common among churchmen who want power over people. Believe, and the payment is credited to your account once for all. You now have a new reason to live for Him. Not because you worry about fleeing hell but because you are consumed with pursuing heaven.
If this specimen turned into human flesh, will we allow it to be a witness to the Cross or will we treat it as some substitute or sidekick actor to the Cross? Be careful about letting anything upstage, not simply illustrate, what God has done once for all.
