Have you ever wondered what might be the trigger where God tells the Son, ‘Go get the bride, I’m not holding back my wrath any longer’?
Yes, often. But I don’t know for certain what that event(s) will be. I think that God has already given this nation, and many of its sinners, up to their own destruction just as Romans tells us. We are like paratroopers of old. We are behind enemy lines and find ourselves surrounded. But help is on the way. I am waiting for the General to break through.
