Thanks for posting these threads. I listen to Pastor JD, John Haller, and Jan Markell every week. I too have a hard time praying for America anymore. I never understood before how Jeremiah felt when God told him to stop praying Israel because He would not hear the prayers. Now I do. America shows zero signs of repenting as a nation, and I doubt she will. Instead, I pray for my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray for my wife and children. I pray that we may be counted as worthy to escape His wrath, and to stand before the Son of Man. I pray for myself, for His help with the many temptations and problems I face. I pray for my church and pastors. I pray for all of those persecuted, tortured, imprisoned, and murdered for their faith in Christ. And I pray for Israel.

There have been rare times when I felt God tell me not to pray about something because the matter was settled.

I have felt that with this country and this age, for that matter, and I have been praying along your lines.

I just have the sense that we are in the end and that nothing we will pray is going to change the outcome at this point. The point of no return has passed.

Some generation is going to have to see the end. It cannot be postponed indefinitely. No one wants to be part of that generation, but at some point, it HAS to happen to fulfill Bible prophecy.

So I am praying for a great harvest before the end, that as many people as can be, will be saved before it’s too late. I am praying for revival in the church, strength for believers to endure, protection and wisdom for Israel and her leaders.
