Please give me chapter and verse because my Bible says different.

John 19:17 King James Version (KJV)

17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

Sorry, but the Mt Olives doesn’t look like a skull (2898. kranion) actually the Greek translation is the top round part of the skull. Also Mt Olives is across the Kidron Valley away from Mt Moriah. Please explain how you came to your conclusion.

The place you speak of is north and west of where the Temple was.

Scripture says that the Roman soldiers who were guarding Jesus’s body on the cross, looked out and saw the Temple doors rent.

The Temple doors faced east, not being visible from the NW, and not being visible from the ground outside the Temple walls, the place of crucifixion had to be at a high enough location for the soldier to witness the doors being rent.

Golgotha, “place of the skull”, is a prophetic place connected to David. It has nothing to do with what the landscape looks like, it has everything to do with the place that David brought the skull of Goliath.

We must also look back to Gen 22 and the place where Abraham took his only son, Isaac. Theology mistakenly says that it is Mt Moriah, however, the Hebrew text says that God told Abraham to take Isaac to a mountain in the region of Moriah where He would show Abraham which mountain to ascend where the sacrifice was to take place.

Please watch the videos of Bob Cornuke’s research that I have posted links to.
