When you pray with faith and without doubt, God schedules the answer in His own time. He has a set time for it in the sense that “there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).

The Lord sends the answer in His own time and it’s always on time. We need to learn to trust God’s timing because he knows what’s the best time for us to receive or not to receive what we are asking for.

We don’t give everything, which our children ask from us, do we? We don’t give solid food to a new-born child. They need milk. (See 16 Questions About Spiritual Life in the 21st Century)

God Calls For Patience

When our heavenly Father was giving a revelation to the prophet Habakkuk, he said to him. “For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Habakkuk 2-3 And he adds in the following verse that “the righteous person will live by his faithfulness.”

So now you see? If you wait patiently and remain faithful you will live the way God wants you to live. This is why our Lord Jesus says “whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24).

How To Patiently Believe

Patiently believing without doubt is key. But doing this is hard. This only happens when you remain in Him and His words remain in you. “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7

This is a real power. Keeping the memory of God alive and fresh in your memory and intellect is the real power that helps to overcome your bad habits and addictions.
