In the late ‘70’s there was an arab shiek that bought a Beverly Hills mansion and painted the “naughty bits” of all of the nude statues around the outside of the mansion, to make them more prominent, much to the dismay of the neighbors.

I remember that, I lived in LA at the time. We did not see it as an early warning sign that our culture was being purposefully destroyed.
