Agreeed, but the fact remains NO one likes to admit they are a sinner and ask forgiveness. It is one of the hardest things to ever do. If it were easy, everyone would be saved.

Another factor is Reformed churches tend to shy away from the I am a sinner aspect that Evs put in the forefront.

I attend a Presbyterian Church; please don’t tell anyone Presbyterians “shy away “ from calling sinners sinners. Total depravity is one of the cornerstone of Calvinist thought. Also “evangelical” is not a denomination as “Presbyterian “ is. Many Presbyterians are evangelical, probably all are to some degree.
