After months of reflection, Donald Trump says he still doesn't regret his decision not to ask God for forgiveness for his sins.
In an interview on Sunday with CNN, the Republican presidential frontrunner said that he does not regret never asking God for forgiveness, partially because he says he doesn't have much to apologize for.
"I have great relationship with God. I have great relationship with the Evangelicals," Trump said in the interview before pivoting to his poll numbers among Evangelical voters.
"I like to be good. I don't like to have to ask for forgiveness. And I am good. I don't do a lot of things that are bad. I try to do nothing that is bad."

I don't think Ted walks on water, but you need to study your Bible more - Jesus wasn't the only one to walk on the water.
Oh yeah I forgot...Glen Beck and Mark Levin!!! now how could I forget them?????
"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking."
If you are just repeating a prayer because it is part of the service, you might as well be quoting Dr. Suess for all the good it does spiritually. Repentance has to come from the heart - it requires an acknowledgment of your sin and a genuine remorse and determination to turn from that sin, along with asking for forgiveness.
You really enjoy flaunting your ignorance, don't you???
"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. (Matt. 14:28-29)
Dominionism is non-deominational. Rafael Cruz preaches it. Glenn Beck supports it. David Barton supports it and Ted Cruz surrounds himself with Dominionist preachers.
Walks like a duck...
As far as myself is concerned, not that it's any of your stinkin' business, I'm WELS Lutheran.
Well your priest or whatever really needs to work with you on your Bible literacy, because it is really lacking. I’m not impressed by how many times a week you go to church - from your posting history and the way you attack anyone that disagrees with you, I’d put your spiritual maturity at the same level as Trump’s, which is to say,not very impressive.
Remember, lies make Jesus cry.
What I’m saying is all have fallen short and that none of us have the ability to peer into the souls of others. I have a feeling that while I may be surprised at who I don’t meet in heaven; many more folks are going to be very surprised at who they DO see there.
Does Romney ask for forgiveness? I honestly don’t know Mormon theology, and what they hold re. sin and forgiveness. Did Romney’s position on the question affect how you voted in 2012?
Here, have a tissue.
.
I had no one to vote ‘for’ in 2012, so the outcome was not surprising.
I spent election week 2012 in Lima Peru, with economists, lawyers and engineers from everywhere but the US, and they all were convinced that the election was fraudulent, and definitely fixed.
I agree with them, and I am convinced that Trump’s entry this year is a part of the establishment’s manipulation of the election process.
I’m sorry that I can’t play your game on this, but you are looking in the wrong direction.
.
The vast majority are going to be aghast at the fact that they are zooming into “Outer Darkness” for all eternity.
When the Lord says that few will make it, I believe him, and it gives me considerable concern.
He said that “if you will not watch, I will come as a thief.”
I watch.
.
Yes.
Definitely the wading pool of thinking.
.
I can’t help but completely agree.
