Too many couples don’t understand how many others, including their close friends, have already dealt with this. Most don’t talk about it, and even more rare, talk about it in terms of their faith.
You can feel so alone. Often those facing need only reach out and quickly find their normal support network is well prepared, if they only ask.
Forty years ago my wife and I lost a little one. He or she would have been our second. Those days still come frequently to my mind. I have since also lost my wife. I miss them both.
Thackney, thank you for posting this - with all sincerity. Perfect timing for a situation I am aware of and couldn’t quit find the words to help others involved understand what my young friends are going through.
