Agreed. A point to consider - Redemption is worlds apart from Salvation. Redemption requires adherence and obedience to the Ten Commandments
Obedience to the ten commandments was a part of the old covenant. The new covenant requires faithfulness to Jesus. They really are not the same. And Redemption comes only through a relationship with Jesus, which we are in a poor position to judge of anyone but ourselves.
Ah,you might want to check your theological books. What I heard was that Jesus of Nazareth was/is the onlyb Redeemer, and the price of redemption is His blood, shed on the Cross, and placed on the Mercy Seat of Heaven to assuage The God's righteous wrath.
