I wish that this Pope had received as much publicity setting up free showers and barbers in Vatican Square as he does now.

How nice! Comparing abortion (which Bergoglio claimed we Catholics talk too much about) with free showers and haircuts!

Well, I wasn't. I'm not that trivial.
I was thinking of the very different treatment the Pope gets from various media and the media's ideas of what is worthy and not worthy of things to discusss. The media does drive world discussion.
The media have always loathed Catholic teaching and the Pope is the "face" of that teaching. SO many things are sins: abortion, divorce/remarriage, artificial birth control, fornication, adultery, masterbation, etc.

When I was a girl I took the 5th commandment literally, THOU SHALT NOT KILL.
However, I know now that it also extends to "killing oneself" with alcohol, drugs, over-eating and so on.

I thought that the 6th commandment about adultery was one I would never break because I had limited "adultery" to only one thing.

Ooops, off-topic. I was NOT comparing abortion to free showers...only the media's treatment of the Pope's speeches/messages. He will NEVER say or do anything right according to the media, the Pope-haters and to those who simply don't like most of what he has said this past year.

Remember, the other cardinals ELECTED him. You might wish to find out who they were and exoriate THEM. The Pope didn't elect himself.
