“embrace of Mohammedanism by elements of protestantism”
That is beyond ridiculous. Islam has no influence whatsoever over reading the word of God and recognizing that some people have corrupted true religion to follow vain traditions of men. It has been happening even before there was a church or Islam. It is still happening today.
There is a sick and evil minded group around here that delights in spreading their filth on this forum. This group knows full well that their manmade practices are offensive to some Christians, yet they cannot simply keep their filthy idolatry in their own homes, temples of idolatry, and among their own false believers. They are urged and compelled to proclaim it.
It makes sense having rejected the true Gospel of Jesus Christ as preserved for us the holy writings of the apostles, that they must replace their enthusiasm with filthy, disgusting abominations.
If I knew someone who professes faith in Christ believed it wrong to eat pork, I might discuss civilly why I disagree. But I certainly would not make the habitual practice of making posts to him or his group on the wonders of various pork recipes and how all true Christians should learn to love pork.
Even if the so-called veneration of statues was never idolatry or perhaps only rarely idolatry, a true follower of Christ would never try to lead other followers of Christ to do something that would cause them to stumble. This fact alone convinces me of the sheer wickedness of people who promote such things.

But in the Christian era, the origin of iconoclasm is the Mohammedan heresy, an heretical mania which has been adopted by certain versions of protestantism. Those versions of protestantism also share other theological positions with the Mohamedan heresy, for example, rejection of the Councils of Ephesus and Chalcedon. There are those among Eastern Christians who believe that the influence of those protestants who have adopted heresies whose origins are in Mohammedanism or who otherwiae share heretical beliefs with the Mohammedans on the Republican party in America explains the pro Mohammadanism foreign policy of this country going back at least to Reagan.
The weed of heresy always bears bitter fruit.
Wow. As a member of the “sick and evil minded”, I caution you to remove the beam from your eye before trying to remove the sliver from mine.
The level of vitriol and hate that consumes you is galling.
