And the Psalms specifically command us to worship (literally, bow before) the Ark:

“Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship the footstool of His feet; for He is holy” (Psalm 98[99]:5).

Now you weren't doing to badly til you got to here...And you obviously decided to pervert the scriptures to get people to believe God wants Christians to worship idols...Here's the real scripture...

Psa 99:5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

The real scripture doesn't say anything about worshiping an ark or footstool, does it...They call that 'deception'...

There is more than one way that this text could be translated, but the word “worship” is simply the word for “bow”, and so when it says to bow before the footstool of His feet, it is saying to bow towards the Ark.
