Last post on this: Protokos- Opens the Womb. God does not have a womb. That is the sole reason that monogenes was used where it was. Your own definitions and mine as well showed this.

Right...protokos is used in describing Mary's first born....Jesus.

Monogenes describes Jesus as God's only Son.

Two different passages describing two different situations.

CONTEXT is the key in this.
