Mary has NEVER been called the Mother of the Trinity. The title “Mother of God” has never meant that Mary is the Mother of the Trinity.

Mary is the Mother of Jesus.
Jesus is God, the Second Person of the Trinity.
Therefore, Mary is the Mother of God, the Second Person of the Trinity.

Continually protesting that “Mary is not the mother of the Trinity” is like picketing the nearest fire station, protesting the green fire engines, even though all the fire engines are red. You are protesting against something that NOBODY BELIEVES.

So... what's the difference? Are there two Gods in which Catholics believe? One that is The Trinity and one that is not?

Sounds like CCC 841 coming into play?

If Mary is the mother of God it would be impossible that she is not the mother of the Trinity...

Regardless of what y'all claim is MEANT by something you say, it says what it says and clearly what is says is different than what you say it means.

The very fact that you have to explain what it means, demonstrates that it says something different than what you want.

It says *Mother of GOD*, that GOD had a mother. If God had a mother, then Mary is above Him and He is not eternal and self-existent or omni-anything.

So you are suggesting that Jesus who was a spirit from time immemorial permanently became attached to the flesh/body that was conceived in Mary and will stay that way forever???
