Ok...so what's your point on this?

Exactly what I have said from the Beginning. Protestants are engaging in Eisegesis when they say that Christ had brothers and/or sisters from Mary's womb.

You think this proves your point by stating Jesus was the firstborn? I think we all agree on that.

But as already noted, firstborn is that....the firstborn.

You stated that in your post 236.

It doesn't preclude other children nor does the term limit to just one child to which you also noted in your post 221. I've already explained the Greek on that.

If you want to believe catholic "tradition" over the written Word I cannot stop you. All I can do is explain the Word based on the Greek. It's up to you what you do with it.

You've offered nothing to refute what I've noted regarding the Greek on this or the context of the NT....other than catholic "tradition".

So again, I ask....what's your point?

I posted scriptural verses demonstrating that your opinion was just that, an opinion. Protestants keep stating that the term “first born” DEMANDS that there be a second, third, etc... born and it is simply not true.
