UPDATE: On Friday, local police and the Las Vegas Diocese announced church protesters will not be taken lightly.
"Our concern is for the safety of parishioners and the staff at each of the churches," said Diocese security director Steve Meriwether.
Police say these protestors crossed many legal boundaries.
"These people are obviously disrespecting these houses of worship," said sergeant Michael Brambilla.
The affected churches are on private property and the state of Nevada has laws that protect churches from this type of behavior.
"Persons are not allowed to go to houses of worship, regardless it be Catholic or otherwise and disturb, speak out loud, cause noise, and disturb the worship process," said Brambilla.

I read, too, that they were Christians/ converts. I do not believe it, actually. They might be just checking out soft targets. Satan hates the cross, after all. I cannot see Christians doing this, except perhaps that group that pickets funerals - Westboro Baptist. Other than that, no one would disrupt a church service in Jesus’s name.
Yea Westboro would but even they are not so bold as to go into a church. They stand out on the street holding signs because they want to be seen by everyone. They are really lawyers and they are just waiting for the moment someone crosses a line and they can file a lawsuit.
These people, who would come into a church, are dangerous whoever they are.

Has the LVPD made any arrests, or do they simply “condemn” church invasions?
Strangely, LVPD in one report said they hadn’t identified them.

I guess the LVPD approves of these invasions as the first call they received from terrified Church goers was in October.
I was gonna say my bad since it was the LV Diocese that condemned these invasions, but it looks like the LVPD is willfully indifferent.
People say visit Nevada but stay away from Reno & Las Vegas because they are very liberal.
BTW, if the Mafia still owned the Strip in Las Vegas, you’d think that Luigi, Vito, & Dominic might show up at the next church invasion & break a few heads.

It's too bad though, some heads are like rocks. They may not notice the import of the comparison if one was to tell them the story, draw 'em a map, then emphasis closer details on 8 x 10 glossy photos with circles and arrows.

I'm not persuaded these particular bozos are much of a threat.
Posting videos of their escapades on youtube while they walk around in the USA doesn't sound like prelude to commission of violent assault -- for the group of people posting the vids, anyway.
But who knows what else that kind of thing may inspire? Westboro have been failures in the inspiration biz, nearly as I can determine. These guys may fall into that same index eventually, though if they keep it up, should arguably enough be arrested for trespassing in the meanwhile.
They're a little like FEMEN in Europe too, but with more clothes (oh, thank heaven!) and minus directly expressed hatred to at least the concept of Christ.
On the other hand, if the protestors were BLMs or Occupy Wall Streeters, The local police would have remained mute, or praised the protestors for “exercising their First amendment Rights. To the gist of your response, for the reasons you mentioned, I believe that these “Christians” were, to be kind, impostors.

I never said Westboro was classy, I just said they never went into other people’s churches and caused trouble!
With Westboro it’s better in that when they make a scene at least 500 bikers can show up and make more noise against what is basically 10 women and children on their side. Now that we know their game and where they will play it, we can be prepared and out do them. Sometimes like when they came to West Virginia we can drive them off!

Which makes the guys in Las Vegas worse than Westboro, in that sense. I would agree (and did, I thought).
An attack? It wasn't quite that, but it was intrusive, rude, and generally wrong on many levels at once. The parishioners in Las Vegas didn't look overly frightened, but more like the people were quietly disgusted with the repulsiveness of that breech of decorum.
They didn't panic or start freaking out, nor did anyone attack the rude intruders, but were patient with it all. In the one video that I'm referring to, the look on the pastor's face -- ah, man, gotta' feel for that guy.
Near the end of that episode when the rude boys are being politely shown the door, I had to laugh. It was a calm way to handle that particular incident. It worked --- in that situation.
I think. Maybe "moslem" Protestants are like Black Protestants?
People who carry the aggressive confrontational teaching of Iz Lame with them to anything else usually end up being violent sooner or later.
