how? well... i believe in tradition.
a broadsword... full plate... a shield... and a strong horse.
The question is fair and I wrestle with living an authentic faith that does not deny Christ. Here is where I am, personally, in my understanding of how to deal with Islam and Muslims:
I endeavor to hate no man, even the most vile among them. That is extremely hard to do, admittedly, as I find Obama contemptible. But, I have found that hatred leads to hardening of my heart, and that grieves the Holy Spirit by quenching His work in me.
If I have the opportunity to encounter a Muslim one-on-one and discuss matters of faith, I will tell them who I am in Christ Jesus. I will give a defense of my faith, but I will also offer to them the hope that is found in the Lord. It is a sad thing to see someone who is bound by Satan and needs salvation, yet rejects the truth to chase after idols.
However, we are instructed that the Lord has instituted governments for the purpose of punishing evildoers. It is not wrong for Christians to ask our leaders to protect our land from Muslims who seek to kill us. In fact, it is evil to encourage government to abandon their true calling. In America, our system of governance is based upon the consent of the People, and we cannot afford to be silent.
In the end, I pray that God would forgive my ignorant, foolish heart and help me to understand truth.
