If ISIS had their way, after destroying every single sign of Buddha on Earth, people would say Buddha who?

Buddhism is secular philosophy robed in religion that does not require you to do anything. It's the same with Kabbalah which is why both are so popular.

Buddha suggests stop hating while God in the Torah commands you to love you your neighbor.

It's usually quoted, however, by man-bun Buddhists who think of Buddhism as Upper West Side liberal pacifism with incense and temple bells.

HA! Best part.

I paraphrase Cao Cao into colloquial English:

"Don't get angry, don't hate. These things mess up your mind so you can't deal effectively with your enemy."

Buddhism is about cultivating wisdom and enlightenment - and like Christianity, you can only do that for oneself. You can not bring another to enlightenment and you can’t force another have a relationship with Christ.

Its about seeing reality, and not denying it. Buddha’s message in this case is directed at Muslims.

I have been tracking the averages of the four or five top polls for the GOP Presidential Race for the last 12 weeks or so.

At this point the clear front runners are Trump, Carson, Cruz, and Rubio. Fiorina was in the top group for a few weeks, but she has dropped off steadily. A big recent trend is Carson dropping off 3-4 percentage points.

Trump is maintaining his lead (as he has the entire time) at just under 30%.

Ted Cruz (who I am supporting) has climbed into 3rd place at 12.5%. He has been jockeying with Rubio for 3rd place, with Rubio now around 10%. This is good news, and if Carson continues to slide, I expect to see Cruz continue to rise.

IMHO, they should limit the future debate to the top five contenders and allow the others remaining in the race to have t it in the pre-debate, 2nd tier debate each time.

Here's my numbers from the latest polls:

...and here's my running chart since September 1st.

Ask any sniper - you can’t be hating when you pull the trigger, or you’ll miss. Calm, calm, peace, love, Ommmmm... Bang!

What would the Buddha say about the Paris attacks?

1. Nothing. He took a vow of silence and he WAS silent for years. Of course, no one really knows since the Indians deliberately refrained from developing an alphabet for a couple of millenia and only did so around the birth of Christ from the PRESSURE of surrounding countries. They felt it would be a desecration of their VEDDA, their holy book, to have it written down.
So, since all those great gurus and holy men had no scribes to put down their words of wisdom, it's only an ORAL tradition, NOTORIOUSLY inaccurate and unreliable for history.

2. IF he were going to say anything, it would PROBABLY be along the lines of: "It doesn't matter. We are all nothing."
Sidhartha Gautama [the Buddha] believed in the Great Void, the Great Nothingness. He might have irritated the holy pie outta you.
