RE: Where is the verse that says that says Christians use violence to spread the gospel?

Leftists will cite the slaughter of the Canaanites and the extermination of the Amalekites by those who are the “People of God” as record in the Christian and Jewish Bible.

Canaanites and Amelekites alive today might have cause for concern, I suppose. Any out there?

But can these leftists cite any case of Christian violence aimed at spreading Christianity today?

Can leftists cite any country in the world which is a Christian theocracy, similar to the many Muslim theocracies in the middle east??

Leftists are just big fat liars...about everything. Leftists have murdered more people for the cause of Marxism than Christians and even Hitler ever dreamed of murdering.

I think you missed his point:

He is right that Christians need to wrestle with Old Testament violence, though he correctly says the New Testament has "turned a page." But then he claims that New Testament rhetoric has it that Jesus preached violence against Jews. Really? Where is the verse?

There is no New Testament call to violence. Contrast that with Islam, where many of the earlier peaceful concepts were abrogated (replaced/superseded) by calls to violence, written as Mohammed's political power increased, allowing him to do more violence and creating the need to justify it.
