Anyone finding similarity has neither read the Bible, nor the Koran. Islam is diametrically opposed to both Judaism and Christianity.

First problem. There’s no belief involved in Islam. Once in, never out. That’s not a faith. If you lose your faith, if you no longer believe in Islam, you can’t leave.

Another Christian-look-alike cult, Mormonism, does a similar thing, and they even baptize for dead people, making them Mormon in abstention. I don't think catholics go that far, they just pray to get people out of their purgatory escape route.
