I have encountered quite a few passages in scripture that say exactly the opposite of what I wish they said. Given a choice of trusting my own preferences or trusting God, I find the decision easy. God provides us with guidance because we’re better off trusting in the Lord.

What would be the point of a Bible that meant, “do whatever you want”? That is what we would have done without God’s word, and we know how that turns out.

It’s a Satanic invasion of our Christian church going sect by sect (in this case, using homosexuals as a vehicle). No more “go forth and sin no more”, it’s now “smoke ‘em if you got ‘em” and we won’t judge ya. How nice to be in a “church” that tells people no matter how awful your sins are, you’re just fine keepin’ on keepin’ on.

How else to explain a church like the one in Kansas who let the monstrous infanticidist Killer Tiller sit in the pews without molestation (well, until someone decided that was about enough) ?
