There is no prohibition of homosexuals in the Catholic Church as long as they refrain from sexual activity. “Love the sinner, hate the sin.” That is what the Church bans. The argument that the Church “bans” gays is misleading and false.

I doubt that he and his homosexual “partner” are celibate. Anyone who does not consider homosexuality a sin, whether celibate or not, should not be in any leadership position of any Christian church.

Since when has making misleading and false statements prevented the liberals from making their political statement?

The liberals are fabulously happy that he chose this time to come out of the closet, and introduce his boyfriend. So by having a boyfriend he is rubbing in our faces that he is not a celibate person with same sex attraction. So we have to deal with the fact that he acts on those attractions.
