26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,
15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
The Northern tribes (House of Joseph/Israel) were exiled and lost to history due to gross idolatry. Separated, so to speak. Hosea (and Ezekiel 37) decribe their return.
(Revelation 17:5) And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Babylon is the harlot's *mother's* name. A naming convention for illegitimate children. Compare:
Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
The name "America" is itself a mystery... undetermined origin, lacking definitive etymology or source. Theories abound. And then there's her Hebrew name:
Hebrew name for US "Lands of the Covenant" remains mystery
Joseph is yet alive.
Speaking of Joseph and Joseph/Israel allegories...
The quotes above from Deu 33 and Gen 49 are referenced at the end of Matthew chapter 2. He = Joseph. Another one of those perpetually "mysterious" verses that actually makes plain sense. Nazarene = nazir = separated one = Joseph = House of Israel
Hosea 11:1-3
1 When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
2 As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images.
3 I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them.
Matthew 2:14 When he [Joseph] arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
Matthew 2:15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled [completed] which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

The USA not a player in prophecy? She's front and center, right along with Judah.
Agree with much you say except perhaps the harlot is more likely Jerusalem representing Israel.
Rev. 17:7 But the angel said to me, “Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. 8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
The beast that was, is not (during John's time), and yet is, seems to be Babylon and in the end of the age "Mystery Babylon."
A few other references that seem to indicate this:
Rev. 17:18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”
Rev. 17:3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast...
Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet...
Seems the "woman" is helped initially, in the end of the age, by the beast - a government (i.e. America, the UN, etc.), perhaps the final Greco-Roman form of government(s) all of which will broken to pieces when Messiah returns.
There are other tie-ins to Jerusalem/Israel being the harlot, such as scripture speaking of her destroying the saints/prophets in both Matt. and Rev. Many I think confuse the "harlot" with "Mystery Babylon". "Mystery Babylon" is the "beast" government, whom every that consists of, at the end of this age, when there will be no further need for governments.
How I see it anyway, for now. :-D
