Christian charity in this case involves righteous anger.
Like Jesus beating the money changers at the temple, Christians should rightly feel disgust at a “pastor” who so easily spreads slanderous lies.
If you’re going to present yourself as a “pastor” who is some kind of authority, shouldn’t you do the most basic checking to see if what you are pushing as an authority is even slightly true?
Let the public shaming bring true repentance.
“Christian charity in this case involves righteous anger.”
You are kidding yourself. It sounds like an excuse to not do what Christ commanded.
Do you remember the turning the other cheek saying of Christ? Any passages on forgiveness?
The quote sounded similar to other crazy actions and quotes we’ve heard from this pope.
I think your posts will only shame you.
How Christlike........
NOT!!!!!
Is that how Catholics treat someone who confesses of a sin and repents of it?
Do you want to put him in stocks so people can throw rotten tomatoes at him, too?
And who are you to determine if some one is showing *true repentance*?
Swim the Tiber? Not in a million years..... Who needs that kind of *love*?
