Love: "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." – Matthew 10.34.

All one has to do is think of the eternality and absolute mercilessness of hell and the lake of fire and know that God isn’t the kindly grandfather that some would portray Him. Those places are places of the total absence of divine love. And God is the one who casts people there.
Luk 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
Luk 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
