Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven,
We Praise Your Holy Name!
You are So Wonderful,
And So Wise!
You know what is best for us,
And All things Come Together for Good for those who Love You,
And Are called To Your Purpose.
Guard Our Hearts and Our minds Against depression, Oh Lord,
And Fill Our Hearts with Your Peace.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

The syncretism of the ancient pagan world is quite interesting. When the storm hit, the sailors each "prayed to their own god" to calm the seas. One sailor may have been burning a little incense to Baal, right next to a sailor who was prostrating himself to Astarte, who was next to a guy calling upon Amon Ra, Neptune, or Dagon, the fish-headed god of the Philistines. It was one big, happy, tolerant, diverse, multi-cultural ship!

Of course, mythical "gods" do not answer prayer, so the storm continued. In a true spirit of "international cooperation", the sailors cast lots, trusting only in fate, to find the culprit!

Jonah's confession of guilt awed the sailors, and they realized that Jonah's God was the ony One worth praying to! It is possible that many a heart was turned that day. But still, Jonah feels sorry for himself, and instead of using this opportunity to lead the entire ship to faith in the One True God, he asks to be cast into the Deep.

Nevertheless, God will use even this to teach His Eternal Truth.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Yes Lord, may we lay down before Thee the anything not of Thee and Thy WORD. As Our utmost offering before Thee... in peace, with love, and hope in our heart, mind, and future. Lead us in the paths we are to walk, and teach us the words of faith and salvation that we may show through our lives the way to be pleasing before Our LORD and Savior doing for others as we would have them do unto ourselves. In Peace. Faith. Trust. Forgive us Lord we do not know all we do, we come to thank Thee and praise thee in all things ... we are most blessed. Hallelujah! AMEN! in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
