1 Timothy
4 Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. 2 These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.[a]
3 They will say it is wrong to be married and wrong to eat certain foods. But God created those foods to be eaten with thanks by faithful people who know the truth. 4 Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. 5 For we know it is made acceptable[b] by the word of God and prayer.

This is very Unfortunate.
This group of apostates is no longer part of the Southern Baptist Convention or the Christian Church.
I can call myself a black man, does not make it so, oh wait...
How’d you like to be on your death bed and have either one of these people show up to comfort you?
Of course, God Is there. Publicans & sinners ring a bell?
It’s impossible to know what happens at ‘’all’’ churches, but I rather doubt that any of these people are slobbering on & pawing each other in church.
Baptist Church Founded by First SBC President Allows Ordination of Gay and Transgender Ministers
So this church and those that attend it no longer consider themselves Christians. That is a shame. Turning from God is never a wise choice, but one they have obviously made......
the one thing they had in common was that they were there to worship Christ.
You can not worship Christ by spitting on Gods Word........
Allows LGBTWHATEVER to be ministers but still frowns on dancing.
Well, neither DH (who is RC) or I (Church of Christ but I visit a nearby Baptist church pretty often, too) have seen it yet. In fact, I’ve never seen anyone act that way in church (or at a church/ church related function) ever.
Do people act that way where you go to church?
Pastor, it’s not sexual orientation or gender identity it’s sodomy. What other sins will your congregation be permitting?
Oy vey. A sign of the times.
yep
I agree
Neither one. There are some things I just don’t overthink, lapsus. What other people (of any persuasion) do in private is one of them. (How is it not sinful to think of it? And some of us - Praise God! are not tempted to do so.) If someone is doing something in front of my face, that’s another story. God Gave me feet & free will & the good sense/ instinct to use them. (Remember “shake the dust off your feet”?)
This crap with the schools does make me crazy- little kids/ senior “health” class, I don’t care. That should NOT be happening! I don’t care how it’s cloaked. People sputter a few minutes about it when (yet another) story comes out, then *poof* into the ether until next time. WTH?
The Bible makes it clear that there is evil in this world & that Christians will be offended by it, but must not be tempted by it. It will not end until the Lord Defeats satan in the last battle. Witnessed by the just utterly debauched stuff that keeps coming out, things will get worse. That’s Biblical, too. Worse than we can probably fathom at this time.
