Yup! I was the only female in my group. It seemed that every time I rolled somebody accused the DM of giving me special treatment for being female. lol!
Well, yeah. I usually DM’d. Girls ALWAYS got special treatment. Because, well, you know. They’re girls.
Girl: “I rolled a 3”
Dm: “close enough. The wraith keels over, dead”
Guys: “Hey! No fair!”
Dm: (whispers). “Shut up! She’s like the only female who’s talked to you -except for the cafeteria lady- in the past three months! What are you whining about????”
And so on.... I’m guessing that you saw about the same thing.
And, if you get the chance, watch the Dead Alewives movie clip that was posted. I’d not see it before. Made my stomach hurt, I laughed so hard.
