I can see things getting so bad that a “person” rising up offering peace and tranquility and food and water and air conditioning, etc. getting a lot of followers. As Christians we must recognize that we must have missed the tribulation and will pray for strength to reject the anti Christ and hope to catch the next flight.

[Just mythoughts]

One must need know who the anti-Christ literally is to escape the tribulation of deception. Who, and what was the temptation to Christ in the wilderness? Christ taught who literally is the fake Christ. What would cause a Christian such shame they would pray for mountains to fall on them? The first tribulation is not about saving flesh bodies, it is war against souls from high places. Ephesians 6.

For some Christians around this earth, things are already as bad as it gets in flesh bodies.
