I suppose you're referring to this?

"In a frail human being," Pope Francis told a group of Catholic gynecologists, "each one of us is invited to recognize the face of the Lord, who in his human flesh experienced the indifference and solitude to which we so often condemn the poorest of the poor, whether in developing countries or in wealthy societies.

"Every child who rather than being born, is condemned unjustly to being aborted, bears the face of Jesus Christ, bears the face of the Lord, who even before he was born, and then just after birth, experienced the world's rejection."

Why aren’t churches moving support to an alternative boy scout organization

And exactly what has the Pontiff done to rectify the situation, with regards to his flock? Has he excommunicated Pelosi? How about Biden?

When el-Pope decides that action is far more important than words, he can regain the moral high-ground. Until then, he is complicit.

Its one thing to encourage and invite sinners in to be saved.

its another to invite them in and let them continue in their sin, unabated.

Pelosi has already been denied Communion. This ruling is still in force.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3070203/posts

It's Canon 915, and it applies to Biden and any other pro-abortion Catholic politician as well. But in any case, it's not the Bishop of Rome who has the job of issuing public excommunications to errant Catholics in their various dioceses. It's their bishops' job.

I don't know who that would be in their home states, but in Washington, DC it's:

Archbishop Donald Wuerl

Street Address:
5001 Eastern Avenue
Hyattsville, MD 20782-3447
301-853-4500

Mailing Address:
P.O. Box 29260
Washington, DC 20017-0260

Go to it, rjsimmon!

The article in the thread you linked to indicates that she SHOULD be denied communion. Not that she IS being denied communion.

If you have evidence to the contrary, please FReepmail me.

Thank you.

Have you contacted the seven key senators about stopping PP's funding? They're voting early this evening.

Is there anything at all that the Church will not go for ( Except for smoking )in order to stay popular with the world?

If all you can do is bash the Catholic Church, then please stay off the Catholic threads. Thank you.

And just exactly HOW is this a catholic thread? The Times Picayune is hardly a catholic source.

Thanks. People from any state can contact them. That’s why I put in the sample zip code and area code for each one: so you can write in as a local (state resident). Use a generic address, e.g. “204 Garden Way.”

Time will tell, I suppose the mormons will stay as well until the heat from the homofascists gets too hot.

The HRC (Human Rights Campaign) released a statement almost immediately after the decision was announced stating the religious exemption the BSA permitted essentially undercuts the entire decision and they’re going to fight to get the exemption removed.

Keep in mind, the BSA has acted deceitfully in this matter both in 2013 and this year...I don’t trust them any longer and will no longer associate with them...they are an amoral organization and perfectly free to change their minds again when it suits them.

When the corporate pressure to remove the religious exemption becomes too much to bear, the BSA will cave...they have become a very secular organization.

Catholics and others should be looking for alternative organizations to place their youth in that are in keeping with their faith.

Because our age is the Laodicean age, hallmarked with ‘tolerance’ and ecumenism, and inclusion.

Louisiana in general and the New Orleans area in particular have a strong Catholic tradition. The boy scout troop affiliated with our local Catholic church is lead by married couples whose children participate. They do not support the homosexual agenda in any way, and there is absolutely no danger of homosexual troop leaders participating.

Of course, I wish they would drop the Boy Scouts and find a group that is not corrupt on the national level, but maybe these strong values-based troops will be able to turn the national organization around (I know, wishful thinking). I know our local boys are learning the values and skills that the original Boy Scouts was founded for, and I’d hate to see them lose that because of some crazy national policy.

O2

So you are suggesting that members of FR that post in the Religion Forum lie about their address?

Sharing a part of true history isn’t bashing. It’s factual and can be proven. I consider it similar to some of our founding fathers owning slaves - it isn’t pretty, but, true.

Archbishop Aymond reprimanded Fr. Beard recently, for declining to commit the mortal sin of giving Communion to a man who is publicly “married” to another man.

Beard’s own bishop, the bishop of Baton Rouge, also reprimanded him.

Two bishops who can be written off.
