Don’t just give us a one sentence statement like that — Can you elaborate?
Whether that be true or not, there is something in the spirits of most humans which wants to believe in something greater than themselves. To dismiss this aspect of human nature is little different from the Communists attempting to ignore greed in Human nature and as a result, suffering the consequences for it.
If you think you are going to talk the bulk of the population out of believing in a religion, you are not reckoning with past history. We will get some sort of Religion, and if it isn't Christianity, it is going to be something less benign. My prediction is that Islam will win, and Atheism or even Agnosticism will be a death sentence.
I think perhaps you need to take the blinders off.
