Vladimir Putin Rebukes U.S. for Abandoning God and Christian Values by Promoting Homosexuality

President Vladimir Putin, former KGB agent of a once-atheist nation, rebukes America, a once-Christian nation by saying that by forsaking traditional Christian values and putting same-sex marriage on the same level as traditional marriage with a man, woman, and children, the nation is forsaking God and believing in Satan and will be led into degradation and chaotic darkness.

At the height of the Cold War, it was common for American conservatives to label the officially atheist Soviet Union a “godless nation.”

More than two decades on, history has come full circle, as the Kremlin and its allies in the Russian Orthodox Church hurl the same allegation at the West.

“Many Euro-Atlantic countries have moved away from their roots, including Christian values,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a recent keynote speech. “Policies are being pursued that place on the same level a multi-child family and a same-sex partnership, a faith in God and a belief in Satan. This is the path to degradation.”

In his state of the nation address in mid-December, Mr. Putin also portrayed Russia as a staunch defender of “traditional values” against what he depicted as the morally bankrupt West. Social and religious conservatism, the former KGB officer insisted, is the only way to prevent the world from slipping into “chaotic darkness.”

As part of this defense of “Christian values,” Russia has adopted a law banning “homosexual propaganda” and another that makes it a criminal offense to “insult” the religious sensibilities of believers.

The law on religious sensibilities was adopted in the wake of a protest in Moscow’s largest cathedral by a female punk rock group against the Orthodox Church’s support of Mr. Putin. Kremlin-run television said the group’s “demonic” protest was funded by “some Americans.”

That's right: the former-USSR was at the peak of their abortion holocaust in 1992, the year our Russian son was born in Petropavlosk-Kamchatskiy. I never pass up a chance to thank his natural parents, Larisa and Nikolai Kavilkavov, that he didn't end up in a bloody bucket.

I have never met them, but I keep hoping that some time, somehow, they will find one of my "thanks" messages and realize that the child they placed for adoption (long story here) --- is alive.

Yes, they did. Just as we planted seeds to destroy communism in his country even as those seeds of communism were sprouting in our universities and public schools.

But we CHOSE to water the seeds in our nation because a Nanny State appeals to global corporatists who can outsource our jobs and manufacturing for some extra profits and claim that its OK because the government approves longer unemployment benefits and easier disability and a myriad of other entitlements. “After all, no one is starving, right?” It isn’t just welfare recipients and college professors who set our present situation in motion.

But while they were communist, there was an army of Russians who stayed Christian even when the churches were closed. When communism ended, they brought Christ back into the public square and the people flocked to him. Their church experienced a revival that was just miraculous.

What will we do when the communists win and our churches get shut down? Will we tear the pages out of our bibles so we can hide them? Or will they just help us out when the toilet paper shortages begin? Will we hold church with our close friends, or spend the time doing black market work to earn some extra money for a small luxury to keep a part of our old lives of comfort?

I wonder if the unreal abortion numbers were a result of not having access to modern birth control methods (not that I am all for that either) but they did have access to medical procedures, or what? I mean that number is amazing in the worst way possible, and it went on for years and years.

As I understand it, the Russians had condoms and maybe diaphragms, but little access to hormone-based methods like the Pill. So many Russian women submitted to multiple abortions -- like 8 abortions per woman av. lifetime total--- as their only form of birth control. For a lot of women, this also impaired or destroyed their subsequent ability to conceive or to carry to term, so they had a lot of miscarriages and stillbirths as well.

Dreadful to think of.

Here (USA) most women "fix" their lady parts with hormones and surgery -- jellies & jams, plugs & rubbers, oral, transdermal, implanted, injectable --- to get artificial sterile sex the way they "want" it.

So, in a way, "We're all trannies now."

Yes, it is a false as there has been absolutely no confirmation from any credible media. It has been denied by the Kremlin and even Putin-hating Slate magazine says, “The love child rumor is almost certainly bogus.”
