...if your argument is that Calvin and Europeans learned from the Catholics to make it a punishable crime to be a heretic,,, then it really makes them rather poor “protestants”. Maybe you should let the man present his own argument first, before you step up on your soapbox.

I can step up on my soapbox anytime I want. Not the case in Europe a few hundred years ago whether I was in a Catholic Pope run OR a Protestant Calvin run city. Those low lifes would burn you alive,,,, all in Christ’s name of course.
