And to whom do you confess your sins? Yourself?
You see, because I am born from above, I am no longer under condemnation for the sin nature I inherited from Adam. I am however responsible to be tuned in to His leadership and guidance. It is a wonderful life. Give it a try. You will know in your heart that you are Born from Above. You will have joy you cannot even imagine as His love floods over and through you.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
That's a ridiculous question.
We confess to the God whose law we broke, who Jesus has promised us would hear and answer our prayers.
Do Catholics really believe that God does not hear them and answer them? Or that if they ask Him something, He won't do as He promised? That they have to go through another human being to get to God? Why don't they take God at His word without someone else telling them what God has already told us in His word?
All it does is tell us that Catholics don't really believe God when HE says something, but they're believe another human being when THEY say something.
That's not trust or faith.
