Ny faith in Jesus as Deliverer and Lord, you are born from above, right then. With that event God now has a cleansed dead spirit in which He can send His Life as the Holy Spirit into you. That LIFE is then adopting you into the family of God, by His Life. Thus Justified, the process of sanctification begins on the newborn, as God's Spirit raises you up in the Way that you should go.
