"Wow. Reminds me of St. John Bosco, he also had dreams which came to pass. If I wake up in the night I try to say the chaplet or a rosary."

Good point! Don Bosco dreamt one night about a Pope leading a ship, the faithful, through turbulent waters. The Holy Father guided the ship between two pillars, very close together, and was able to anchor this ship to the pillars.

On top of one pillar was Our Lady; atop the other, The Eucharist. It gives me the chills- in a good way- just to think about it.

Jesus in the Eucharist, and Mary with the Rosary are our hope, both now and in the times to come.

IMHO, that Pope was JPII. This may sound crazy, but with Cardinal Ratzinger being one of his right-hand men, and a profound spiritual thinker in his own right, my subconscious usually thinks of theirs almost as one Papacy. The transition was so seamless; Benedict so humble, and then stepping down, as if somehow he'd finished what JP wasn't able to, but intended- and he'd be close enough to know.

I miss him. 💖

Hello,

Don Bosco is one of my favorite saints, I have a book, 40 dreams of St. John Bosco that is amazing and contains the dream that you speak of.

I agree with you about John Paul the Great and Pope Benedict, we were truly blessed to have them back to back. This morning at Mass we had a young priest filling in, you could see the influence of St. John Paul shining through this young man. I believe these young priests will hold fast to the faith while our great ship, the Catholic Church, weathers the storm. I had written ‘the coming storm’ but it appears the storm is already beginning to break upon us.

Let us hold fast to the Eucharist and the Holy Rosary!
